HOMENAJE AL AÑO AZCONA + 40 AÑOS DE LA ACADEMIA DE CINE
Our inaugural festival kicks off with an event honoring one of the most influential screenwriters in Spanish cinema, Rafael Azcona, on the 100th anniversary of his birth, and celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Film Academy. The tribute includes a special screening of his seminal film Belle Époque (1992), directed by Fernando Trueba and winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. There will be a cocktail reception following the film.
